INDYCAR Teams Up with Parkside Cards for Exciting Trading Card Series

As the 2024 INDYCAR season draws near, fans of the thrilling open-wheel racing circuit have even more reason to be excited. INDYCAR has teamed up with Parkside Cards to launch a brand-new series of trading cards, bringing fans closer to the action with an array of collectibles, contests, and giveaways that will enhance the race weekend experience. The partnership, set to kick off on March 1, is slated to last for three years.

The INDYCAR Collection by Parkside will be available to fans at race events, in retail stores, and online, giving everyone the opportunity to join in the excitement. Parkside Cards plans to engage fans through various initiatives, including redemption cards for signed memorabilia and a contest that offers a grand prize trip to the iconic Indy 500.

With Parkside’s impressive track record of card collections for the US Women’s National Soccer Team and the National Women’s Soccer League, this partnership marks the expansion of their portfolio into the world of motorsports. The INDYCAR Collection Hobby boxes, priced at $88.99 plus shipping, will contain 20 packs with eight cards each, guaranteeing two autographed cards per box. Retail hanger packs, on the other hand, will feature 25 cards, with an autographed card included in every 18th pack.

One unique feature of this collection is the inclusion of relic cards. These special cards will contain actual brick pieces from the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway, providing fans with a tangible piece of racing history to add to their collections. The base set will consist of 162 cards, complemented by a 72-card Marquee Moments insert set, as well as other thematic inserts like Race Events, Pit Pass, and Indy NXT. Autographs from 27 different drivers will also be available, with special Blue, Black, and 1/1 Gold parallels adding to the collectibility of the series.

Mark Miles, the President and CEO of Penske Entertainment Corp., expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, recognizing the significance of trading cards in helping fans connect with the sport’s stars. He believes that the new INDYCAR card series will provide fans with a dynamic way to engage with the sport’s personalities and talents.

Pre-sales for the 2024 INDYCAR boxes have already begun, with the racing season scheduled to commence in St. Petersburg, Florida, on March 10. This exciting collaboration between INDYCAR and Parkside Cards offers a fresh and interactive way for racing enthusiasts and collectors alike to celebrate the thrilling world of INDYCAR racing.
