Panini Celebrates Jannik Sinner’s No. 1 Achievement

Panini, the renowned collectibles company, is joining the celebration of Jannik Sinner’s remarkable achievement of reaching the pinnacle of the ATP world rankings by unveiling an exclusive trading card and memorabilia collection. The collaboration, announced from Modena, Italy on June 10, 2024, marks a significant milestone as Sinner becomes the first Italian tennis player to achieve the No. 1 spot in the ATP rankings, solidifying his status as a rising star in the sport.

The partnership between Panini and Sinner traces back to 2022 with the release of “Piccoli grandi campioni – Manuale illustrato del tennis di Jannik Sinner” (Young Great Champions – Jannik Sinner’s Illustrated Tennis Manual) by Panini Comics. This illustrated book not only offers insights into tennis techniques but also delves into Sinner’s early days in the sport, providing fans with a glimpse into the journey that led him to the top. Another exciting collaboration highlight was the transformation of Sinner into a playful “duckified” character called “Quacknik Spinner” on the cover of Topolino magazine, released by Panini Comics in May 2024.

Expressing his excitement about the partnership, Sinner fondly recalled his days collecting Panini stickers and enjoying their comics during his childhood. He shared his enthusiasm for the opportunity to engage with his fans in a creative and personal manner through the wide range of products that Panini offers, including trading cards, memorabilia, game gear, and digital collections.

The first product set to be released as part of this collaboration is a Panini Instant trading card dedicated to celebrating Sinner’s remarkable journey to the top of the ATP rankings. This exclusive card will be available for fans to purchase through the Panini America platform. Following this initial release, Panini has ambitious plans to launch a series of trading card collections dedicated to Sinner, featuring rare memorabilia and limited-edition cards. These collectibles will be made accessible to fans worldwide through Panini’s extensive e-commerce network and selected retail outlets.

With this announcement, Panini and Jannik Sinner are paving the way for an array of upcoming releases planned for 2024 and beyond. The collaboration between the collectibles giant and the No. 1 tennis player promises to bring fans closer to Sinner’s journey and achievements, encapsulating the essence of his remarkable rise in the world of professional tennis.
