Burglary at Pick 6 Sports Cards

In a daring act of theft, Pick 6 Sports Cards in the vibrant city of Coeur d’Alene fell victim to a burglary that has left the local community stunned. The break-in, which took place in the early hours of a quiet Tuesday morning, has sparked an intense investigation by the diligent officers of the Coeur d’Alene Police Department.

The perpetrators allegedly executed their plan with precision, utilizing a dark-colored, late-model Ram pickup truck to forcefully back into the front entrance of the popular sports card store located at 610 Hubbard St. #107. This brazen move provided the culprits with unrestricted access to the treasure trove of valuable sports trading cards that adorned the shelves of the store.

With quick and calculated efficiency, the thieves managed to make off with a substantial haul of these coveted sports cards, leaving behind a sense of loss and bewilderment in their wake. The value of the stolen merchandise has yet to be fully determined, but initial estimates suggest a significant financial blow to the business.

As the crime unfolded, witnesses caught a fleeting glimpse of the suspects as they hastily fled the scene of the crime, their escape route taking them north on Lincoln Way/U.S. 95 before veering westbound onto Interstate 90. Notably, the getaway vehicle, the dark Ram pickup truck, bore the scars of its criminal act, with visible damage to the tailgate and at least one rear taillight.

In a further attempt to evade detection, the perpetrators had resorted to using a stolen license plate on the vehicle, adding another layer of deceit to their carefully crafted plan. The audacity and meticulous planning displayed by the burglars have left law enforcement officials both impressed by their cunning and determined to bring them to justice.

The Coeur d’Alene Police Department has urged anyone in possession of information that could aid in solving this brazen burglary to come forward and assist in the investigation. Individuals with relevant details are encouraged to reach out to the authorities promptly by calling 208-769-2320.

As the community grapples with the aftermath of this shocking incident, the resilience and unity of the Coeur d’Alene residents have shone through, demonstrating that even in the face of adversity, the spirit of togetherness prevails. The hope remains strong that the stolen sports cards will be recovered, and the perpetrators will be held accountable for their actions, restoring a sense of justice and security to the beloved Pick 6 Sports Cards and its loyal patrons.
