Leaf’s Baseball Card Sets Showcase Autographs and MLB Prospects

Leaf Trading Cards is set to wow collectors with their upcoming baseball card releases, showcasing a plethora of autographs, top MLB prospects, and exclusive inserts. The two sets, Leaf Metal and Leaf Press Pass Premium, promise to deliver a diverse lineup of talent that will captivate both new and seasoned collectors alike.

Leaf Metal, slated for release on October 25, comes in both Hobby and Jumbo Box formats. The Hobby Box offers seven cards, including four autographs, two base/parallel cards, and an exclusive “mojo auto.” On the flip side, the Jumbo Box boasts 14 cards with eight autographs, four base/parallel cards, a Jumbo Box-exclusive “pulsar auto,” and a “slabbed auto proof.” All autographs and base parallel cards in Leaf Metal are limited to 35 or fewer copies, adding a touch of exclusivity to each pull.

A highlight of Leaf Metal is a triple autograph card featuring the top three picks of the 2024 MLB Draft: Travis Bazzana, Charlie Condon, and Chase Burns. The set also includes autographs from standout draftees like Nick Kurtz, Hagen Smith, Konnor Griffin, and Roman Anthony, Baseball America’s top-ranked prospect. The “91 Leaf” insert set pays homage to the classic Leaf series while also showcasing top prospects such as Chase Dollander, Dylan Crews, and future draft hopefuls like Ethan Holliday. Notable rookies and recent grads like Paul Skenes, Elly De La Cruz, and James Wood round out the impressive lineup.

Leaf Press Pass Premium is set to hit shelves on November 8, offering collectors high-quality cards in premium boxes. Each box contains six base cards and parallels, with five autographs included. With one autograph numbered to 25 or fewer per box, the set maintains its air of exclusivity. Featuring a 100-card base set and a 100-card retro base set, collectors can also enjoy eight parallels limited to 35 or fewer copies.

The lineup of signees in Leaf Press Pass Premium includes 2024 draftees like Bazzana, Condon, Kurtz, Smith, and Burns, as well as up-and-coming prospects like Ethan Holliday. Legendary veterans such as Mookie Betts, Ichiro, and Nolan Ryan add to the set’s allure. Autographs in the base set are numbered to 199 or fewer, while retro base autographs are limited to 49 or fewer. A special “Press Box Signatures” insert features iconic names like John Smoltz, Jim Rome, and Vin Scully, adding a touch of nostalgia to the collection.

Both Leaf Metal and Leaf Press Pass Premium will be available for purchase on Leaf’s website and at major card retailers. With a mix of promising rookies, top prospects, and veteran stars, these sets promise to offer collectors a unique and exciting addition to their collections.
