Fanatics Launches ‘The Ten’ Program: Rewarding Top Sports Card Collectors

Fanatics, a leading sports merchandise company, has partnered with Fanatics Live to launch a groundbreaking program called ‘The Ten’. This initiative aims to showcase and reward collectors for discovering the top 10 sports cards in the market. Drawing inspiration from popular lists like the “Billboard Hot 100” and the FBI’s “Most Wanted”, ‘The Ten’ features a dynamic selection of cards spanning all sports.

The program, which was unveiled on Wednesday, offers collectors the chance to win $10,000 in Fanatics Live credit if they successfully pull one of the featured cards on the Fanatics Live app. The selection of cards will change each month, highlighting popular and rare finds that collectors aspire to have in their collections. Examples of these coveted cards include the 2023-24 Bowman Chrome University Bronny James/LeBron James 1/1 dual-auto card and the highly sought-after 2023 Bowman Chrome Baseball Draft Tom Brady 12/50 inscribed card, which has yet to be discovered.

‘The Ten’ will feature a diverse portfolio of cards, representing legendary athletes like Tom Brady and Steph Curry, as well as up-and-coming stars such as MLB’s Corbin Carroll and Anthony Volpe, and NBA’s Luka Doncic and Chet Holmgren. The cards will come from various brands, including Panini, Upper Deck, Topps, and Bowman.

James Kollar, senior director of marketing at Fanatics Live, expressed the program’s aim to enhance the collecting experience and give back to collectors and the hobby. ‘The Ten’ also serves as a platform to promote new products and reignite interest in existing releases with chase cards. By featuring these cards, Fanatics Live provides dealers and collectors with an exciting opportunity to showcase their finds and generate buzz within the collecting community.

To celebrate major discoveries and announce upcoming cards, Fanatics Live plans to feature pack and box breaks, as well as special shows centered around ‘The Ten’. A dedicated webpage will track the cards and their finders, adding a narrative element to the program. By focusing on the stories behind the collectors and their finds, ‘The Ten’ offers a unique storytelling aspect that further engages the community.

Since its launch, Fanatics Live has experienced consistent growth, with an average watch time of 56 minutes.
